I am a huge fan of the tee-shirt dress. A simple knit dress is key in any Spring and Summer wardrobe but I especially loved it when I was pregnant since it was cute AND comfortable. If you are a mom-to-be and have the rest of the summer ahead of you, you definitely need a few tee shirt dresses in your arsenal! They are extremely versatile, too, especially this Splendid version! You can go for a totally casual look, pairing it with a summer slide and tote for a beach day, or opt for city chic, with strappy slides, tortoise shell shades, a panama hat and a simple clutch. Great Memorial Day BBQ option too! Hope you are enjoying the long weekend! -Olivia

Memorial Day means a long weekend filled with family, fun, and food! This year, my husband and I decided on taking a few day trips; we will be checking out the Frida Khalo: Art, Garden, Life Exhibit at The New York Botanical Garden and then heading to Margate, NJ for a relaxing beach day. There will definitely be a requisite BBQ (or two!) in between. Whether you are getting out of town, heading off to the beach or planning to lounge pool side, it’s important to look great AND feel comfortable. With just a few maternity pieces like a caftan maxi, boyfriend jean and tankini, you can have a holiday weekend wardrobe that is versatile and totally on trend. Don’t forget the suncreen! -Olivia

The free-spirited style of the ‘70s has made a comeback and is even better with a bump! Tie-dye prints, maxi dresses, the peasant blouse, floppy hats and fringe are just some of the latest trends to love this summer. This sunset-hued maxi from A Pea in the Pod, paired with antique gold accessories, a fringe bag, wide brim hat and round sunnies, nails the bohemian look. Opt for a destructed vintage jean with a peasant blouse for another fabulous circa-‘70s summer look. -Olivia

With summer almost here, a wardrobe that keeps you cool and comfortable is a must, especially if you are expecting! The one item I tell every mom-to-be to invest in if they are expecting during the warmer months is a maxi! An instant outfit, a maxi is versatile enough to be worn throughout your whole pregnancy. This version from Isabella Oliver is one of my favorites. The simple knit print and side-ruching feature makes this dress extremely flattering. For an effortless and on trend weekend look, I suggest pairing a maxi with a thong sandal, panama hat and cuff. Dress things up for an evening out with a wedge, statement necklace and jacket. Happy styling -Olivia

It sounds corny to say but I’ve always dreamed about becoming a mother and knew it was going to be the most important part of my life from a young age — so I honestly have a hard time believing it’s actually happening, and in 9 weeks! I know it will be the most challenging and fulfilling role of my life and I can’t wait to experience life through the eyes of a child and explore the world with her.
I’m pregnant with my first baby girl and couldn’t be more excited. Here I’m wearing an Isabella Oliver dress from A Pea in the Pod that I absolutely love! Photo by Lucy Cuneo Photography for Style Within Reach I try to start my day by 6:30am since I’ve found myself to be most productive before 3pm in my third trimester — this allows me to get through the most difficult and time consuming tasks before my energy gets zapped!I try to always keep our house full of fresh blooms and sneak out to Whole Foods for a lunch break at least once a week to pick them up. I’m always planning outfits for upcoming shoots for my blog. These Joe’s Jeans from A Pea in the Pod are my favorite maternity jeans and I can’t wait for it to be warm enough to wear this eyelet top! Our nursery is almost ready for our little lady but we still have some work to do! The gallery wall is my favorite! I’ll be sharing the full tour soon on The Glitter Guide!
Tip: Since becoming pregnant I’ve been living with a capsule wardrobe and love how easy it makes getting dressed in the morning. Easy basics that can be mixed and matched like this chambray tunic from Motherhood Maternity, white jeans, jersey dresses, simple blouses and cardigans fill my closet. Here’s a few of my pregnancy nightime essentials; This Zoe Organics belly butter is so great and I also love Mustela USA ‘s oil. The Glow also inspires me daily and I’ve had such a sweet tooth throughout my pregnancy, nightly ice cream is my treat.
Happy Mother’s Day to you all and don’t forget to share your own photos on Instagram and Twitter showing your excitement about becoming a mother too using the hashtag #happinessisontheway! -Caitlin

Coral is trending right now and I love it for a baby shower, especially if you’re expecting a girl! The pleating on this dress is feminine without being too frilly which works perfectly with a bump. Pair with metallic accessories for a fresh modern finish. And I suggest going with a wedge since it gives you some height without being too high! Head over www.destinationmaternity.com for the full assortment of shower-perfect dresses! Congrats! -Olivia

Shades of indigo from breezy blues to chambray are in for spring. The denim on denim look truly ushered in this trend, but jeans look equally good when paired with a soft or even bright blue. In a maternity maxi, silk top or a fun accessory, we love this color for moms-to-be for spring! -Olivia
