Four Things

With the long, cold days of winter remaining in the foreseeable forecast, weekends spent indoors are much to be adored. From comforting eats and cozy knits to adding a touch of brightness and nesting away, we hope you will find the following four things as fabulous as we do.

Holiday Looks for Now & Later: Part 2

maternity dress

Beyond the festive parties and gatherings with friends, at the heart of the Holidays is family. From Thanksgiving to Christmas Day, chances are, you will be welcoming the festive season (and the New Year) with your loved ones. While not the time for your sparkling swing mini cocktail dress, a thin, rib knit dress in a longer length and formfitting silhouette will do the trick.

Ultra stretchy and immensely comfortable, Copywriter Leigh Calarco and Online Marketing Manager Michelle Scarpato, both model this closet staple, a ¾ Sleeve Striped Maternity Dress by BCBGMAXAZRIA. From the flattering boat neck to the shape-defining stripes, it’s the perfect casual-yet-still-special holiday wear that can be easily accessorized with a pair of booties and a thin cardigan such as Michelle’s Long Sleeve Open Front Maternity Cardigan.

Flattering while pregnant, and also while not (thank you, rayon/spandex stretch!), it’s a win-win dress with plenty of appeal.

It was so fun being here with you all today and everyone following along from @apeainthepodmaternity as well!
For more healthy recipes and ideas, see both of my cookbooks Against all Grain and Meals Made Simple and my recipe app Cookery! And you can always find me @againstallgrain here on IG daily to keep up with my pregnancy, daily eats, family life, and fashion finds! xo💕Danielle #DMtakeover The weather cleared up and dinner is served! We had marinated tri-tip, grilled asparagus, and a salad with grilled nectarines, prosciutto, walnuts and champagne vinaigrette. What did you have for dinner? #glutenfree #againstallgrain @againstallgrain #DMtakeover My little guy doesn't love his veggies, but there's a few I know I can always get him to eat, so I make them often! Roasted asparagus is one of them. I trim the asparagus and toss it with a little olive oil, sea salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon and roast it in a 400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. You can also throw it on the grill! #babybump #DMtakeover #againstallgrain @againstallgrain We're visiting family in the mountains and our outdoor plans are being postponed by a thunder and hail storm! So puzzles, coloring, board games, and Lego building are in order. Do any of you other pregnant mommas welcome lazy days like this? I know I do! The weather won't keep us from barbecuing the tri-tip that's been marinating later though! @againstallgrain #DMtakeover
