Sweet with a subtle spice and an aromatic scent that immediately puts a smile on anyone’s face, these baked donuts by Abby from Style Me Pretty puts these heavenly treats in your hands – any time.

The official summer season has come to a close, and with that, fall-favorite activities are revving up. While the weather is still gorgeous outside, our week is spent looking forward to Saturdays when we can explore a new place, cook up a storm, experiment with our look and take some time to do some projects around the house. Whatever your plans are for this weekend, these Four Things are our current inspirations.
- An apple-cranberry crisp is the perfect thing to make with all of those freshly-picked apples.
- Chase the chill in a maternity sweater that blooms bright.
- Perfect the bun with easy styling tips that will give you a chic chignon or a trendy top knot.
- Customize the nursery for your little one an adorable name sign.

Sick of the same old gender reveal party ideas? You’re in luck! Miss Party Mom has some clever and crafty ways to spruce up the big reveal.
Share the fun!
Provide a fun game for guests to partake in. Let your friends and family come up with name suggestions for a boy or a girl and place their votes into a jar. This can also serve as a great keepsake item to display in the baby’s nursery.
Cast Your Vote!
Allow guests to vote on the baby’s gender, and then tally it up! Pick a fun prize to award the winning team.
The Big Reveal!
We absolutely love this idea: Have your party store put confetti into a matte, dark colored balloon. When it comes time to reveal, simply pop!

What college do you attend and what is your major?
I am a junior at Drexel University majoring in Design and Merchandising.
What is your position here at Destination Maternity? What are your daily tasks
I work as a Merchandising Intern in the Motherhood Maternity department for sweaters, dresses and knits. On a typical day, I pull samples for meetings, place orders to vendors, create and update styles of clothing and other miscellaneous tasks. I have also recently taken on assisting a research project that will add another sector to the company and hopefully escalate our Motherhood sales in the future!
What are the best parts about working at Destination Maternity?
While in class, I have been able to utilize the skills I have learned as a result of my hands on experience with buying. The work environment is welcoming and always willing to teach me new things. I enjoy being able to see the products that have yet to hit stores. I have also been lucky enough to help with a variety of different departments including accessories, nursing, sleepwear and bottoms.
What is your go-to item in your closet?
My go-to item would probably be my black maxi skirt. It is easy, versatile and comfortable!
