When it comes to dressing during pregnancy, comfort and style are key. By your second trimester you’ll notice that what feels right in week 10, may not fit right in week 20. As your belly grows, you’ll want styles that stretch and move with your body and for the summer months, you’ll want choices that keep you feeling light and breezy. Here are our top 3 must have summer styles for the growing mom-to-be.Statement Tops: It’s time to flaunt and be proud of your belly! Choose tops and blouses that fit comfortably over your bump with some room for your growing belly. Show off your bump in the season’s top trends, like a colorful maternity kimono over a slim fit maternity tshirt. Or style a beautiful maternity blouse, like our best-selling MISOKA Convertible Sleeve Button Front Maternity Blouse with a great pair of Secret Fit Belly® jeans.
Maternity Bras: If you haven’t already, now’s the time to invest in some new great maternity bras. During pregnancy, your bust size will fluctuate and the size that you wore pre-pregnancy may not be the same during your pregnancy or after your baby is born. Sleep and seamless bras are essential purchases and can be worn throughout your entire pregnancy and beyond. Our A Pea in the Pod® Unlined Nursing Sleep Bra and our Motherhood Maternity® Seamless Clip Down Nursing Bra are both soft and stretchy and offer light support. Invest in an every-day bra like the Full Coverage Underwire Maternity Nursing Bra for added support.Luxe Loungwear: For the days you would rather throw on a tee, we recommend the Wildfox tees at A Pea in the Pod®. This exclusive collection of tees can be worn many ways (check out our blog post on it!), including paired with the lightweight Nation LTD Jersey Knit Drawstring Maternity Lounge Pants, available in bright colors for summer.

Naturopathica founder, Barbara Close, enlightens us on how her products lead mommies-to-be & all women to naturally beautiful skin.
Naturopathica has been the trusted destination for 100% skin-loving, high performance products and services since I founded our Healing Arts Center & Spa in 1995. That’s because every ingredient in my formulas works in harmony with the skin’s natural processes and never causes irritation, so skin can focus on looking younger and feeling healthier. Sa
As a clinical esthetician, I’ve seen that many women are dismayed to discover that their skin changes drastically during pregnancy and new conditions emerge, such as hyperpigmentation. My goal is it to create safe skin care solutions with products that deliver real results. Here is my recommendation for this concern:
According to The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, up to 70 percent of pregnant women develop melisma, or hyperpigmentation due to increased hormone levels. Many of the treatments for this condition involve harsh, irritating topical solutions such as bleaching creams that are not only unsafe during pregnancy, but also may lead to premature aging.
The Naturopathica Vitamin C15 Wrinkle Repair Serum addresses hyperpigmentation safely and effectively with 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, a pure and potent antioxidant that helps reduce redness, fade dark spots and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In clinical trials, the Vitamin C15 Wrinkle Repair Serum showed significant and continuous improvement in the appearance of skin radiance, smoothness, firmness and fine lines and wrinkles.
Try this & other Naturopathica products to see personal results and enter now through Friday, 5/16 to win a gift set of Naturopathica favorites in partnership with A Pea in the Pod (over $300 value). This curated assortment of Naturopathica 100% skin-loving favorites is safe and efficacious for use during and post-pregnancy.

Meet Jacky: Our Senior Online Marketing Manager! Jacky graciously allowed us to take a peek inside her super-adorable baby shower and told us a little bit about the process:
Tell us about your shower outfit! What did you love most about it?
I’m very petite, so I wanted to wear something fitted that showed off my baby bump. I loved this Laundry by Shelli Segal Dress right away because it was comfortable and stylish, which is very important to me at this point in my pregnancy. To add in a pop of color, I paired the dress with a bright statement necklace. I made sure to wear a maternity shaper underneath, which helped to give me a smooth, sleek look and also helped to relieve some back pain I’ve been experiencing.
Q: How did you decide on your location and theme? Who helped to plan the shower?
The town I live in is very rich in history, so I really wanted to take advantage of that. The shower was held at a charming, old hotel that was built in the 1700’s with beautiful antique features. Since my husband and I are keeping the gender of the baby a secret, the theme was “What Will it Bee?” My family coordinated everything around the theme from the honey jar favors to the bee hive shaped cake. My mother-in-law even baked all the sweet treats that also fit into the theme. It was truly perfect!
Q: What was the most memorable gift you received?
We received a lot of amazing and thoughtful gifts. One of the gifts that stood out to me is from my mother-in-law. She crocheted a replica of an alphabet picture that my husband had in his room as a baby; that was very special to me. Passing on these traditions are very important in building our family together.
