Klaudia, our Graphic Designer, who creates all of the art for the blog and our other social media channels, threw a fabulous birthday party for her two year old daughter, Vittoria, last weekend. Klaudia is not only a dedicated designer here at Destination Maternity, but a great mom who loves planning events for her little girl! I knew as soon as V’s birthday was approaching that Klaudia would have a super chic and fun idea for the party. Of course, she didn’t disappoint!Since I’ll soon be planning my son’s second birthday party, I have been on the prowl for a venue and I happen to love the place that Klaudia chose. A fun indoor play area, My Little Adventures here in South Jersey, is an adventure play-land that accommodates toddlers and little kids. I know they have places like this in many other cities, so it’s worth looking into if you have a rambunctious toddler and party goers of a similar age-range.
The Safari Chic theme is adorable and perfect for a little girl or little boy, depending on the color story you choose to go with. Leopard paper goods, safari animal motifs, touches of pink and gold became her inspiration. She even painted toy safari animals in gold as centerpieces. White balloons were strung in gold ribbon, cake servers and even gold cupcake foils gave life to the stylish party décor.
The birthday girl had on an adorable gold crown and played with her guests until it was time for pizza and cake. Animal crackers and monkey cupcakes made for the perfect desserts before a bubble dance party! I love that Klaud thought of every little detail and chose a fun age appropriate venue for her guests. Greyson and I had a blast at the party! -Olivia
