As a mom, I am big fan of The Honest Company’s personal care and cleaning supplies so I was most excited when Jessica Alba announced Honest Beauty was launching. During my visit to Los Angeles earlier this month, I had the chance to check out the new line of safe, high performance cosmetics at the Honest Beauty Pop-Up Shop at The Grove. If you live nearby or are visiting LA, you should definitely add it to your list! The natural wood, soft lighting and glam decor give the shop a serene vibe and complement the equally pretty packaging and product shades perfectly.
The straightforward layout with makeup and skincare displayed separately on marble and Lucite® fixtures (hello-gorgeous!), each marked Face, Eyes, Lips or Cheeks, make it super easy to shop.
Most impressive were the computer demo screens that, with a click of a button, reproduced different looks directly on my face! I could choose from Fresh, Sunny, Chic, Daring and Glam to try out different looks without ever applying any make-up… genius! The Chic look featuring a cat eye and pink lip was my fave!
The products that are now in my make-up routine are the luminizing powder, gel cleanser, the kissable lip crayon and of course my favorite Honest makeup wipes.
Have you tried Honest Beauty yet? I would love to hear about your favorites! –Olivia
