Today we thank the mother of all mothers… Mother Earth!
Today is Earth Day and we like to celebrate by doing something good for our environment. From recycling to reusing, there are so many ideas and inspirations of how to help our earth. Check out Earth Day’s website for plans and ways to get involved.
As for us, we want to highlight a brand we love. “Babytime! by Episencial is dedicated to creating safe, effective, natural skin care products that enhance the health of babies and young children’s naturally sensitive skin. Babytime! is the only skincare brand to make baby-safe, all-natural skincare products with PROBIOTICS to support skin immunity and help treat common skin conditions.”
Be a true Earth Mama! Since bumps are just as sensitive as baby bums, we encourage you to try these products out during pregnancy too. Your skin is the biggest organ and with baby in the belly, being safe becomes top priority.
Combat itchy and stretched skin with Babytime Body Lotion, sold through Motherhood Maternity. Calm down those hormonal changes that affect your skin with the Babytime Soothing Cream. And nourish your body with their massaging serum. All natural, all good, all ages.
Besides using natural products, how do our team members give back to Mother Earth? Read on to see how they show a little love to the land.
Matt, our Production Manager, gardens with his children with help from the compost, which he uses as food for his plants. He grows peas, lettuce, spinach, radishes, kale, tomatoes, mint, basil, chives, peppers, cucumbers, and zucchini.
Jeff, our Creative Project Director, exchanged all the windows in his upcoming baby’s nursery to make it more energy efficient. His wife has been purchasing organic baby clothing; she is in to sustainable children’s clothing as well!
Klaudia, our Senior Graphic Designer, and her four-year-old daughter take leftover fruits and veggies to feed the animals at a local petting farm outside of their veterinarian’s office. Her little peanut also plants flower seeds every spring at a nearby preserve; together they take walks there to see them bloom! How cute is that mommy/daughter date?
