Our Social Media Specialist got really crafty, literally, when she thought up and then executed these DIY costumes. She actually made them in our office using the items shown. With a little glue and a lot of love, we present to you:
THE DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY DISCO BALL
A tiny trip to the craft store was all our co-worker needed to create this costume. She chose the black version of the side-ruched tee, then placed the larger squares in the center and edged with the smaller to create a spherical shiny shape, perfect for the pregnancy costume that will amp up any party! We paired it with our black fold-over belly lightweight skirt, so you can dance the night away without breaking a sweat.
THE BUMPED UP GUM-BALL MACHINE
Using our basic white side-ruched maternity tee, our co-worker laid it on a flat surface and began to place the pompom balls down until they created a perfect circle. Then, she picked up each pompom, added some fabric glue, replaced it and voila— a gum-ball machine! We paired the top with our red Jessica Simpson crop maternity pants to complete the classic color combination.
THE HEART EYES EMOJI
This last one is for the minimalist mama-to-be who wants the compliment, but not the complication. This one really is as easy as 1, 2, 3: get felt, cut a circle and two heart eyes, fabric glue it on our black cold-shoulder maternity dress. Happy Halloween!
