Welcome back to our family affair shopping trip. Remember Jamie, pregnant with a boy, and Kristin, expecting a little girl? Their dressing rooms were filled to the brim, so we wanted to share a few more of their favorite finds. Keep reading to learn more about these sisters who are due a little over four weeks apart!
As we learned from the last post, both ladies have careers that keep them on their toes, literally. As a teacher, Jamie said she looks for styles that keep her covered and comfortable. For that reason, she chose our Babydoll Sweater Tunic; the longer plaid bottom sold her. Kristin has to stick with a dark palette at the salon, which is why she paired the Bell Sleeve Peplum Top in Pinot Noir with a pair of our black maternity pants. She chose a shirt with movement, since her job requires her to lift her arms all day. She also prefers the Secret Fit Belly panel saying, “The last thing a pregnant person wants to do is continuously pull her pants up!
For relaxing at home, both Jamie and Kristin mentioned staying in with their husbands and dogs. They shopped for comfortable clothing that still looks put together, because they have their families in and out, always visiting. We loved Jamie in the Poncho Maternity Top and Fair Isle Leggings, so much we bought one of each and are not pregnant (lucky for us, the leggings are underbelly!) Kristin looks equally amazing in the our Side-Ruched Maternity Tee in Egrat and our classic leggings. They actually both ended up choosing plaid at the end of the day, so we snapped a picture. We ❤ it too ladies.
Before we sent the girls off with their bags filled and shopping lists checked off, we asked them about their baby showers. Kristin is having a shower themed after The Lion King with Simba and Nala as the stars… besides her and baby girl of course.
While Jamie is helping to plan her “woodland animals” theme to match the nursery. She’s thinking a neutral palette, mason jars and pinecones as décor. Congratulations to both Kristin and Jamie and thank you both again.
Now, let us see how you and your family shop together – #thisisgoingtobefun @motherhoodmaternity see you there!
