Between being preggers myself and working with so many mamas-to-be, I have quite a few insider secrets to share that will help you nail your maternity look and feel your best for nine months and beyond. Read on for some of my favorite “hacks” and essentials every expecting women needs to know!
When it comes to maternity essentials, a side-ruched tee, cardigan, Secret Fit Belly® jeans and leggings, and maxi dresses are your best friends and for good reason! Not only are they the foundation of a great maternity wardrobe, you’ll be able to wear them after baby, too. They can also easily be mixed and matched together for looks that get you through any season.
A tummy belt is another secret to help you in those first few weeks, when you may want to keep your baby bump a secret. The little piece of elastic and button helps you adjust your jeans for the right fit. Alternatively, a tummy tube or tummy sleeve can be worn low on your waist, over your pants to smooth and support your bump.
For a universal bra with tons of room to grow, look for a maternity sports bra. Of course you’ll want to work in your favorite maternity bra styles throughout your pregnancy, but if you’re looking for a versatile no fuss fit- try a sports bra and try it early.
Did you know that keeping hydrated is paramount when you are pregnant? Staying hydrated also helps with nausea. For even better hydration and extra electrolytes, snack on pineapples. To beat nausea, pop some SweetTarts. Trust me, they do the job like all of these tips and tricks! Xoxo, Olivia

Move over skinnies, Joggers are on the scene! The jogger is the perfect trend for expecting mamas who want the comfort of an easy silhouette. It can so easily be styled up with a jacket and heel or styled down with chic flats and a tee. Wear it before and after baby, too, for tons of wardrobe mileage! -Olivia

What is every little girl’s favorite movie? If you don’t know, here’s a hint… LET IT GO! Frozen’s Elsa and Anna are trending as baby names in 2015, as well as other Disney character favorites including Tiana, Giselle, Anastacia and Aurora. The movie, The Fault in Our Stars, has earned both Gus and Hazel popular baby name status. Arya—calling all Game of Thrones fans– as well as its other spelling Aria, from Pretty Little Liars, and Piper, from Orange is the New Black, are TV–inspired baby names. Other pop Culture influenced names give a nod to literature, like Harper; Harper Lee is the author of To Kill a Mockingbird. Our favorite royals William and Kate have given us a new love of the name George, while their own monikers continue to be popular choices. No doubt if they have a girl and decide to pay homage to Diana, we will be seeing that name rise in popularity. In fact, the United Kingdom is proving to be quite a source for baby names in the US, with “Fiona, Flora, Fenella, Greer, Isla and Elspeth, and for the boys, Finlay, Angus, Duncan, Ewan and Lachlan” making their way across the ocean according to The Huffington Post.
Your favorite color might just make the perfect baby name as well! In addition to Hazel, Scarlet, Lavender, Indigo, Magenta, Lilac– the list goes on—could be the just the way to make a bold statement with your name choice. Names with an X at the end or in the middle are becoming popular like Lennox or Axel as well. To round out our list of names, Titan, of Greek Mythology is strong, memorable and makes a Big Statement!
Congratulations and good luck! –Olivia

Yay, you made it to the second trimester! Now is the time to ensure that you’re keeping your skin hydrated with safe and effective products, plus preventing stretch marks. I have a few favorites:
Basq Intensive Treatment Stretch Mark Butter: packed with moisturizers and oils, this luxurious treatment prevents stretch marks and repairs skin. I still use this daily because I really love the scent!
Mustela Ultimate Hydration: I am a fan of avocado anything and this cream calls on avocado peptides to moisturize and soothe very dry skin. I actually used it on my whole body!
Honest Organic Belly Balm: It’s all about balms these days and this one really is “The Balm.” Completely odor free- a little goes a long way!
Whichever you choose, your skin is in for a treat! –Olivia
